Nationalism in Makati

Inline with the upcoming Independence Day celebration, the AYALALAND and its partners has launched the "I he(art) Makati, I heart the Philippines,I heart being free" with a series of events from photography contest, " Makati through the Lens" focusing the Makati Central Business District.

There will also be a "My Makati memories" contest for the best personal vintage photos of Makati.
Aside from coinciding with Independence Day activities this June, the photo contents aims to remind today's urbanities of Makati Business Districts rich history. Included is the first ever underpass gallery. "Looking for Juan" at the Legaspi underpass and "everyday Filipino Heroes" at the SedeƱo underpass. This aims to liven the pedestrians journey to work......

And at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, the city's main cultural and civic hub. will serve as backdrop to the "Living Flag" measuring around 150 square meters wit
h almost 2,000 flowering plants.

"There is no landscape too large to change..... no dream too big or too small to fulfill..... "
